Context – cooking dinner

Wavves puts the pop into pop-punk in a way that is unto themselves despite it’s obvious callbacks to surf-rock, punk, and garage rock.  With all of the wit of The Vandals, all the urgency of Tony Molina, and all the excitement of a 12 year old’s first day at the beach, Wavves is a delightfully entertaining way to spend 31 minutes and 15 seconds.  I’m going to do this 31 minutes and 15 seconds all over again, so you should get on my level.
