Context – house shit

My friend said this was the best stand up special he’s ever seen.  If that’s the case it does not translate well to the audio format well, but there were several bits that felt like there was some context I was missing not seeing it.  He even ended the set with some variation of “will any of this make sense to people listening on CD?  Probably not.”

Well, he’s right.  Out of respect to my friend I may try to find the video and give it another shot, but I was not a fan on first listen.  I laughed maybe once.  Parts were clever, but nothing had me in stitches.  And when listening to a comedy album I demand at least one stitches!
